Scientific computing and visualization are the first subject of the major activities of Information Processing Center and the cooperating laboratories. The fields of the studies are electromagnetic analyses, plasma engineering, material sciences, etc. Visualization tools are also used for education. The actual applications for education are: introductory exercises using AVS and VRML/Web tools, visualized electromagnetics, and 3-D virtual space for middle school pupils.
