Abstract
The VR Study Meeting is the scientific association contributed by the persons from some universities and institutes (Chuo University, Tokai University, JAMSTEC and so on) and some companies dealing with the visualization software and hardware such as the immersive virtual
environment. The Study Meeting was initiated in February 2002 at Saitama University, because the core persons were grouped in Saitama University, which presented its first research exhibit in SC94, Washington DC.
The research exhibits by the university persons and contribution people have been presented in SC conferences since then (except SC96) as shown below.

The first issue discussed in the VR Study Meeting was the application of immersive VR environment such as CAVE and similar facilities.
The 3-dimensional visualization in the scientific and/or engineering problems.
The educational studies by using VR equipment and 3-dimensional CG tools have been studied and discussed.
The discussion meeting are usually 3-5 times per year. The results would be shown here.
